This doll was based on the movie Barbie: Princess Charm School and was released in 2011. It is now discontinued. The reason it she is called a 'rock star princess' is because originally she was going to be Blair's musical friend, before a major script change, as the dolls are produced very early. The Delancy Doll comes with a purple purse as well.
