The barn is a location in Barbie: A Perfect Christmas. Located in Rochester, Minnesota, the barn is owned by Christie Clauson's family.
Story[]
Barbie and her younger sisters, Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea get stranded in Rochester, Minnesota after their plane to New York is forced to land due to snowstorms. They find the Tannenbaum Inn and meet Christie Clauson and the Elifs. The girls stay for the night and the next day, on Christmas Eve, they find the barn after following a herd of reindeer.
The barn is filled with hundreds of wrapped presents. Chelsea thinks it must be Santa's barn, but her sisters are skeptical. Skipper thinks it is Christie's barn, since Christie told them she does a toy drive every year. Skipper wants to have a concert at the inn so she can sing with Brian and his band. Chelsea wants to do an opening act with Stacie, but Stacie wants to do an act by herself. Skipper feels stressed while planning the concert, so she snaps at Chelsea. Chelsea feels like a nuisance and goes to the barn with Rudy. Barbie, Skipper and Stacie find Chelsea and she says she played with some reindeer and then fell asleep.
All of the presents are gone from the barn, and there are tracks from a large sleigh outside. The tracks stop suddenly as if the sleigh had taken flight. The gifts were replaced by decorations, a stage, and seating for the concert. The girls also have stockings filled with presents. Chelsea believes that Santa came, took the presents, and that the concert set up is his present to the girls.
Christie says her uncle took all the gifts and said the barn would be the perfect spot for the concert. Stacie wonders how one person could take all the gifts, and Christie responds that her uncle does his best work on Christmas Eve, implying that her uncle is Santa Claus. Christie made several calls to draw an audience, so they arrive before the concert. Stacie and Chelsea do a dog show together, and then Skipper performs with Brian's band and her sisters. The concert in the barn goes well and they performances get standing ovations.
